Tennis Sensation Serena Williams, who co-hosted the Met Gala 2019 proved to be the head turner as she walked the pink carpet of the mega event along with names like Lady Gaga, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and many others. Serena made an entry with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. The 23 time Grand Slam winner was spotted wearing a custom neon yellow strong-shouldered Versace gown with pink feathery and leaf appliqué throughout the garment. But what caught the attention of the fans were the neon sports shoes that the tennis sensation paired with the designer outfit. Serena Williams completed the look with a diamond-studded watch, emerald green rings and drop earrings by de Grisogono. The tennis sensation looked elegant as she posed for the shutterbugs and the pictures and videos of the Williams went viral.

Later in the evening while hosting the event, Serena was seen wearing thigh-high boots as she revealed a matching leotard. The tennis sensation dress was based on the theme of the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” focus. Last year, Serena made an appearance at the Met Gala she was once again the head turner as she flaunted her baby bump with pride. Back then she wore a halter gown with shimmering appliqués which was designed by Atelier Versace.
