For a long time now, tennis ace Roger Federer had been off social media. The last post he put up was in April 2018 where he was seen having a good time with the kids in Zambia. After Federer crashed out of Miami Open 2018 earlier this, he withdrew from the French Open and remained absent on social media too for about a couple of months. Federer will be seen in action at Stuttgart Open which will begin on Wednesday.

Ahead of his comeback, the ace tennis interacted with his fans and brought in his quirky sense of humour. Federer started with the question, “What did I miss?.” The fans gave the gist of the events that happened in the span of a couple of months. “Rafa won 11 title in RG. 🎾🇪🇸🏆Meghan Markle was married to Prince Harry. 👰🏻🤵💍 Soon in Russia will begin World Cup. ⚽️🏆,” read the tweet.

He further responded to the tweet and wrote, “Those things I knew!”

A fan then reminded him about the upcoming season of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Federer said he was excited and routed for Switzerland.

And then came the best part. A fan asked him what his wife Mirika feels about his about his comeback.

Federer had a very funny to the tweet and here’s what he wrote. “Finally he is out of the house.”

Ahead of the Stuttgart Open, Federer spoke to the press and said, “There are a lot of things at stake. I expected Rafa to win the French -- not taking anything away from him. But that creates a situation I was expecting. I know I have to reach the final here to get back to No. 1, that's an extra motivation. But I'm taking one thing at a time and not looking too far ahead. Margins on the grass are slim, it's not so simple to win a Grand Slam, it's seven matches -- that's a lot of tennis.”
