Roger Federer revealed that he was not invited to Rafael Nadal’s and Xisca Perello's wedding ceremony. The Swiss tennis star was quoted by Yahoo Sport that he was wasn't invited to the marriage ceremony of World no.2 tennis player Nadal. Nadal married his fiancé Xisca Perello in Spain a few days ago. The 20-time grand slam champion also added that he does not have a problem with not being invited. He also said that he also did not expect an invitation. “I knew he had better things to do. Like celebrating in a big way. Tennis players Carlos Moya, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez attended Nadal’s wedding. Former King of Spain Juan Carlos I also attended the grand event. Nadal’s close friends and relatives were part of the event which took place at La Fortaleza in Spain. Nadal and Parello were in a relationship for the last 14 years. Both got engaged with each other last year in May 2018.

Meanwhile, Federer played the 1500th match of his tennis career in Swiss Indoors Basel 2019. The tennis great aims his 10th Basel title with the tournament. He had earlier mentioned that he will donate money from the tournament to his foundation.
