Even after 20 years of hard-work on tennis courts, Swiss Tennis legend Roger Federer does not have any retirement plans as of now. The tennis star clearly revealed during a recent press conference that he still has a lot of actions to showcase in the sport of tennis while jokingly saying that he "might also play till he turns 50."
"I may not be even so old, maybe in the future everyone will play until 50 years of age. I am shocked that I have been on tour for more than 20 years. It makes a bit sad because I enjoyed myself. But luckily, it has not finished yet," Federer was quoted as saying by Tennisworldusa during a press conference.
The 37-year-old tennis champion recently won the Halle Open 2019, taking the title for the tenth time. "Every time I’ve won in Halle, I went on to play really well at Wimbledon. It’s never a guarantee of course, but I’ve been on the Tour for long enough to know what it means," Federer said.
Federer, who has 20 Grand Slam Titles to his name, also pointed out that he is injury-free at present and will soon start practising for Wimbledon Open 2019.
