The 15-year-old was in tears after she lost the game. Naomi not only consoled her on-court but also took to social media to laud her fighting spirit. Naomi like an ideal opponent took to social media and wrote, “Keep your head up, you’ve got so much to be proud of. Warrior 🔥💪 @CocoGauff.” After the match both the players were in tears and the Japanese tennis sensation also apologised to her for playing so well and defeating her. The 15-year-old had a stunning reply to Naomi’s post. Check out the post below:

Osaka later told a news conference, "It was kind of instinctive because when I shook her hand, I saw that she was kind of tearing up a little. Then it reminded me how young she was. I was just thinking it would be nice for her to address the people that came and watched her play. They were cheering for her." With this, proceeded to the Round of 16 and will play Belinda Bencic.
