In this part, we go back to 2010, and revisit the John Isner– Nicolas Mahut match at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, which is the longest tennis match in history. The match between Isner and Mahut lasted 11 hours and 5 minutes and spanned across three days. Astonishingly, the match came in the first round of Wimbledon 2010. The match had begun at 6.13 PM (British Time) on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, was suspended due to poor light. The match was postponed at 9.07 PM. It resumed the next day, broke the record for longest match but wasn't finished yet.

The match was suspended again as lights faded. The final set became an unending round of serve and volley tied at 59 games all. The final set itself lasted for 8 hours, 11 minutes. Isner won the match on June 24, 2010 at 4.47 PM.
