The South Asian Games 2019 which is currently going on in Pokhra, Katmandu is reaching its business end. They have 170 medals against their name winning 30 gold, 57 silver and 83 bronze. On day 7 Indian swimmers picked up nine golds and 16 more in other pool events. The event will end on December 10. Earlier, South Asian Games 2019 were scheduled to be held from March 9 to 18, 2019. However, the Games were postponed. The first edition of South Asian Games was held in 1984. A total of seven nations will be participating in the South Asian Games 2019. Other countries taking part in the Games are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
