After the Indian contingent put up a grand show at Asian Games 2018, India’s junior athletes have continued to bring laurels for the country, at 52nd ISSF World Championship. Indian shooters, Saurabh Chaudhary and Arjun Singh Cheema, have won a Gold medal and a Bronze medal respectively, in Men's 10m Air Pistol finals at the multi-nation competition.
Saurabh Chaudhary went a step ahead and not only clinched the Gold medal but also bettered his World record during the event. The Korean and Indians dominated the list of shooters in the final game, as out of eight shooters, two each were from Korea and India.
Not too long ago, Saurabh had clinched a Gold medal for India at Asian Games 2018 also. The Indian had finished atop in the 10m Air Pistol event, by defeating many World and Olympic champions in the fray.
The Indian camp is having a gala time at the 52nd ISSF World Championship that is taking place at Changwon, in South Korea. On Wednesday, junior shooters Divyansh Singh Panwar and Shreya Agarwal had won a Bronze medal too, in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.
