On the occasion of mother’s day, sportspersons across the globe just like other celebrities posted special messages on their respective social media accounts. Since morning, not just celebrities, but other users of social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook have been posting about the mother’s day. Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was among the numerous sportspersons to wish her mother. Tendulkar took to Twitter and wrote, “She is the one who can take place of all others but her place cannot be taken by any other! Happy #MothersDay Aai!” Along with his mother Rajni Tendulkar's picture.

Not just Tendulkar, Indian cricket team captain and star batsman Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, badminton star Saina Nehwal, Indian hockey player P. R. Sreejesh and wrestler Sakshi Malik also posted about mother’s day. Former Australian bowler Shane Warne and South African captain Faf du Plessis also wished their mothers.
