Sachin Tendulkar, today, posted congratulatory greetings on his Instagram account to the winners of International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup. The Master Blaster congratulated Om Prakash Mitharval, Akhil Sheoran, Shahzar Rizvi, and Manu Bhaker through his social media account.

All the four Indian shooters had recently won Gold medals in the competition and had put India in the top position with their performances. The performances from the stalwarts assured India off the top ranking for the first time in the ISSF World Cup.

The Indian team won a total of 9 medals, in which the team won 4 Gold, 1 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals respectively. The Indian team won Gold Medals in Air Pistol and Rifle events in different categories.

Known to promote sports in the lengths and breadths of the country, Sachin Tendulkar has gone out of the way and have put out congratulatory posts for Indian athletes in the last couple of years.

In the year 2012, Sachin Tendulkar was nominated for the Rajya Sabha for his immense contribution in the field of sports. Since then, there have been a lot of controversies over his attendance in the Upper House of the Parliament, but the sportsman has now been promoting sports in the country, seriously in the last recent years.

Sachin Tendulkar’s congratulatory post on Instagram comes as a huge motivational boost for the Indian shooters who made their country proud in the foreign land. The post suggests two things, not only that their success story was shared by the none other than Tendulkar himself, but it would help them get the attention they deserve!
