As the Men in Blue battle it out for winning the coveted trophy, the Indian athletes are blazing guns at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix 2019 which is currently underway in Poland. The athletes are making India proud by clinching medals one after the other. Hima Das, Tajindar Pal Singh Tor, Muhammed Anas Yahiya, KS Jeevan and VK Visamaya were the ones who brought glory to India. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, took to social media to congratulate the winners of the medal. Hima Das Bags Gold in 200 Metre Race at Poznan Athletics Grand Prix 2019 in Poland.
India star sprinter Hima Das aka ‘Dhing Express’, clinched a gold medal as she clocked 23.65s on her way to the 200 m gold. While Das’ teammate VK Vismaya finished third at 23.75 seconds clinching the bronze medal. Asian champion Toor won the men's shot put bronze with a best effort of 19.62m. Muhammed Anas came stood in third place clocking 20.75 seconds. KS Jeevan won the men's 400m bronze in 47.25s. With India collecting so many medals in their tally, Sachin Tendulkar congratulated each of these winners via a tweet.
