Rahi Sarnobat is the first Indian woman individual Asian games gold medalist in shooting by winning the 25-meter pistol event with a game's record score of 34. She is India's first pistol shooter to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup.

The ISSF World Cup 2019 is the annual edition of the ISSF World Cup in the Olympic shooting events, governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation. The World Cup series will decide the qualification tournaments for the 2020 Olympic Games. Rahi Sarnobat with this victory also wins quota place for Tokyo Olympics. Manu Bhaker finished 5th in 25m Pistol Event of Shooting World Cup with 585 points.
