The day got better with the Archers as Sheetal Devi finished second in the ranking round getting into touching distance of a world record. Indian archers produce a good performance as Sheetal Devi finishes with a personal best of 703 points and finishes on 2nd position in the ranking round. Sarita Kumari finishes on the 9th position on the 682 points. Harvinder Singh also finishes 9th with 637 points in the recurve archery ranking event. Pooja finished 7th with 585 points.
Nithya Sre Sivan defeated Jayci Simon of USA in Women's singles 21-8, 21-7 SH6 category. In the same category, Sivarajan Solaimalai lost to Subhan of Indonesia 15-21, 17-21 in the men's singles.
Rakesh Kumar finished 5th in the Compound open ranking event. With his 696 points and coupled with Sheetal Devi's performance the Indian Compound mixed team finished on the top rank. Shyam Sunder Swami finished on 15th position with 688 points.

Thulasimathi Murugesan continues her winning streak in the women's singles after the doubles win as she won her opening group stage match easily against Italy's Rosa de Marco by 21-9, 21-11 in the SU5 category.
After loss in the doubles encounter, Palak Kohli returns strong as she secured a straight games victory against France's Milena Surreau in the Group C encounter of the Paris Paralympics 2024. Palak won 21-12, 21-14 and backed herself with some much needed confidence.

Sumit Antil won one of the five gold medals for Indian in Men's Javelin throw event at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 got the honour of being one of the flag bearers of India. The strong Indian contingent features 84 athletes in 12 different sports. This is the largest ever contingent in the nation's Paralympic history. Several big names are in Team India such as rifle shooter Avani Lekhara who also became the first woman to win a Paralympic gold in Tokyo. Para-archer Sheetal Devin who shoots with her legs is also a part of Team India.
