Manu Bhaker is all set to arrive in Kolkata on Saturday, October 5. Manu Bhaker will be headed to Sribhumi Sporting Club where she will be attending the Durga Puja event. The Paris Olympics 2024 bronze medallist will be a part of a special event "Tahader Katha" organised by sports entrepreneur Satadru Dutta where she will honour those women who have been impressive and made a mark in their respective fields by overcoming various obstacles, thus showcasing the power of resilience and self-respect. Manu Bhaker will also be meeting and motivating the women's football team of Sribhumi Sporting Club.

Satadru Dutta is known for inviting and bringing top sports legends to Kolkata. Neeraj Chopra, Maradona, Pele, Valderrama, Ronaldinho and even the 2022 FIFA World Cup-winning Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Baruipur’s Padmapukur will be the next destination for Manu Bhaker where she will visit the Puja pandal of Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee. This will be the first time that Manu Bhaker will be visiting Kolkata after winning two bronze medals at the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Bhaker secured a bronze in the women's 10m air pistol event. Bhaker clinched her second bronze after teaming up with Sarabjot Singh in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
