That's It! India's Paris Olympics 2024 comes to an end. Only one day left in the games and that mostly has the boxing finals of some weight category and the closing ceremony.  Most events are already done. Manu Bhaker, PR Sreejesh will be India's flagbearers in the ceremony as they end with six medals (One Silver, Five Bronze). Vinesh Phogat's appeal still rests with the CAS. Not the best of the campaigns for India but there are definite positives to take forward to Los Angeles. Check the Paris Olympics 2024 updated medal tally here

No repechage for Reetika Hooda. An unfortunate end for India's campaign at the Paris Olympics 2024 as Aiperi Medet lost her semifinal bout against USA's Kennedy Blades. With it Reetika's chances of returning through repechage ends.

The ad hoc division of CAS has extended time till 6-00 p.m. on August 11, 2024, for the Sole Abritator Hon. Dr Annabelle Bennett in the Vinesh Phogat vs. United World Wrestling & the International Olympic Committee to issue a decision. The reasoned order will be issued at a later date

In Women's golf strokeplay, Aditi Ashok rounded off the event with a Tied 29th finish, carding 2-over 290 (72-71-79-68), and Diksha Dagar had a Tied 49th result with 13-over 301 (71-72-80-78). New Zealand’s Lydia Ko at 10-under 278 created history to clinch Gold.

France puts up a brilliant display in the final of the men's volleyball event in Paris Olympics 2024 as they defeat Poland by straight sets to secure their gold medal. They were thoroughly dominant and never flinched while securing the win.

In a very unfortunate outcome, Reetika Hooda loses against Aiperi Medet in the Women's 76 Kg freestyle wrestling quarterfinal as she ends bout in 1-1 tie but due to the Kyrgyz opposition getting a passivity point later, she will advance to the semifinal and not Reetika. She will now have to wait for a bronze medal chance in repechage.

After winning the Round of 16 match on 12-2 technical superiority, Reetika Hooda will be in action in the quarterfinal against the top seed Aiperi Medet.

Indian wrestler Reetika Hooda defeated Nagy Bernadett of Hungary in the round of 16 match of the women's wrestling 76 Kg at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The CAS court is expected to give a verdict against Vinesh Phogat's appeal for a joint silver medal at the Paris Olympics by around 09:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).

The Paris Olympics 2024 is moving towards its business end with just a few days of action left. The major sporting event has almost seen everything which includes records, milestones and controversies. Countries such as China, USA, Japan, France, Australia and Great Britain have showcased their dominance so far and are leading the medal charts. As the Paris Olympics 2024 moved the day 15, India will see wrestler Reetika Hooda and golfers Diksha Dagar and Aditi Ashok in action. Hooda will be competing in the women's round of 16 75 Kg match freestyle wrestling match. Hooda will look to win her round and progress through to the next stage.
