Mumbai, July 27: The Paris Olympics 2024, which witnessed a spectacular opening ceremony last night, has courted controversy over some of its performances, including the reenactment of "The Last Supper" by Drag Queens. Netizens took to social media and shared photos and videos of the opening ceremony to slam the event organisers, stating that the Olympics "died" tonight. It must be noted that the opening ceremony saw performances from artists such as Lady Gaga, Aya Nakamura and Celine Dion, among others.
