Toronto Raptors won their first NBA title on June 14, 2019, by defeating the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of NBA finals 2019. Toronto Raptors finished on 114, while Golden State Warriors ended on 110. The action took place at the Oracle Arena.

This is indeed a huge moment for Canadian basketball, as the national organisation and Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, the pride of Kitchener, ON, basked in the victory. Former American professional basketball player Chris Josh was also present at the arena and was seen amongst the Raptor fans.

Raptors developed a strong team by acquiring players like Pascal Siakam and VanVleet. Golden State Warriors made it to the final for five years in a row, in which they won three titles.
