The duo has been asked to return home from the ongoing ODI series. As per the recent update by a news agency, both the cricketers have issued an unconditional apology in response to the show cause notice issued to them by the BCCI. Ahead of the series, Virat Kohli was asked about his views on the issue during the press conference. The skipper went on to say that the team does not support the views of the cricketers.
