One of the best wicket-keepers of all time in Cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has ruled the hearts of millions across the globe for a long time now. The former Indian captain has a huge fan base and has constantly received praise from rival camps too. This time it's one of the former Pakistani cricket legend, Mohammad Yousuf, who has come forward and praised the two-time World Cup winning captain Dhoni.

Taking a pot-shot at current Pakistan’s wicket-keeper captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Yousuf has advised him to take MS Dhoni’s counsel in the context of his depleting form and fitness. Yousuf said, “I think Sarfaraz needs to work on his form and fitness first. Unless he himself doesn’t perform consistently, he cannot expect his teammates to perform better.”

Heaping praise on former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni, Yousuf said, “Dhoni has held reigns of Indian Cricket team in all three formats for a long time. During his tenure as a captain not only was he a great batsman but also stepped-up his game as a great wicket-keeper. Sarfaraz can learn a lot from Dhoni.”

The comparison between the two coincided with a similar incident that happened during the ongoing T20 series between New Zealand and Pakistan. Sarfaraz Ahmed was stumped-out to Michael Santner’s bowling after an unsuccessful attempt at doing a split.

The scene reminded many of Dhoni’s successful attempt against Blackcaps when they toured India last year. Sarfaraz became the butt of all jokes on social media and was trolled endlessly.
