During India’s match against Sri Lanka, Jaddu snapped a wicket and bowled at an economy of 4.00 from 10 over. Post this, Manjrekar included him in the team for semi-finals. If one may recall, Manjrekar in an interview had said, “I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner," Manjrekar had said. Post this even Chennai Super Kings had taken a jibe at the commentator without taking his name.
