Liverpool, La Liga & Barcelona Extend Their Support to Kerala Flood Victims; Assure Help in the Best Possible Way

Several celebrities including Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar have rendered their support to Kerala flood victims. The relief work is underway at Kerala and the Indian Army is working relentlessly and is rescuing the civilians. Now, the football clubs Liverpool and FC Barcelona have extended their support to the Kerala flood victims. It was Liverpool’s official fan page KeralaReds who asked their fans for help.

“Dear Reds, Kerala is going through one of its biggest natural disasters in its history. We are doing our best to help the people in need. It would be great if you all can spread the message and donate," tweeted KeralaReds.

Post this, Liverpool also tweeted to their fans and asked them to reach out to the flood victims. “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the floods in Kerala. Those willing to help in any way can reach out to our official supporters club in the state - @KeralaReds  YNWA,” read the tweet on their official handle.

In fact, even Peter Moore, Liverpool CEO also sent his thoughts and prayers. He also mentioned that the clubs liaison team will help the victims in whichever way possible.

Barcelona also extended its support for Kerala. “FC Barcelona expresses its condolences to the families of the victims of the floods in India and offers its support to all those affected," posted Barcelona on their official page. La Liga also sent their thoughts and prayers to Kerala flood victims. Check out their tweet.

As per the latest report, more than 3,627 including pregnant women have been rescued. The death toll has risen to 324 and this year the state has received 619.5 mm of rainfall till August 16.
