Liverpool and Manchester United played a goalless draw an Anfield after both sides failed to convert their chances and find the net. United did finish stronger but Liverpool were the more dominant side throughout. United kept their top spot after the draw while Liverpool dropped down to third in the Premier League table.

FC Goa came back from behind to hold ATK Mohun Bagan to 1-1 draw in ISL 2020-21 on Sunday. Edu Garcia put ATK Mohun Bagan ahead with a wonderful free-kick in the 75th minute but Ishan Pandita came off the bench to score six minutes from the whistle after Pritam Kotal's goal-line clearance from a corner.

Manchester United and Liverpool have named their starting XI for the Premier League clash. United surprisingly left Eric Bailey on the bench and picked Victor Lindelof in the playing XI while Edinson Cavani also dropped down. Liverpool have gone with Fabinho and Jordan Henderson as their centre-backs for this clash.

Juventus have announced their squad for the Serie A 2020-21 match against Inter Milan. The Bianconeri have named a 23-member squad for the trip to Milan with Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata only forwards in the side.

NorthEast United FC have registered their first win in eight games after beating Jamshedpur FC 2-1 in ISL 2020-21. Ashutosh Mehta opened the scoring for the Highlanders with a towering header at the near post before Deshorn Brown put NorthEast United 2-0 ahead on debut with a cool finish after getting to the end of a through ball from Federico Gallego. Peter Hartley scored a consolation goal for Jamshedpur one minute away from the final whistle. This was also NorthEast United's first win over Jamshedpur.

Virat Kohli applauded Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur for their fighting knocks in the first innings of the IND vs AUS fourth Test at the Gabba on Sunday. Hyderabad FC held Mumbai City FC to a goalless draw in the Indian Super League. Sunday will be a doubleheader day in ISL 2020-21 with Jamshedpur FC playing NorthEast United FC in the first match and FC Goa facing ATK Mohun Bagan in the second in a battle for the top four.

Manchester United will travel to Liverpool sitting three points clear on top of the Premier League points table and standing with an opportunity to realistically mount a title challenge.
