KL Rahul scored 14 ball half-century against Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the second match of IPL 2018. This is fastest fifty in the IPL history, earlier the record was with Sunil Narine, who scored a 15 ball half-century in IPL 2017 and Yusuf Pathan who also scored a 15 ball fifty in IPL 2014.

It was a brilliant display of stroke-play by Rahul who hit 4 sixes and 6 fours in the innings which lasted for 16 balls and his final score read 51. Rahul departed trying to hit Chris Morris full toss but manages to get a top edge to it. Shami took his catch at short third man, but Rahul surely did his job for the team before departing.
