Jakarta, August 23: India's men's kabaddi teams domination at the Asian Games ended on Thursday as the seven-time champions failed to reach the final for the first time. The Indian team lost to Iran 17-27 in the semi-final and had to settle for bronze. India's medal tally has gone up to 18 with this win.
The Ajay Thakur-led Indian side took two points lead in the first quarter. The scores were level at 9-9 at one stage, but Iran kept taking points lead as India's lacklustre defense allowed Iran to mount a considerable lead.
