It seems that the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is finally hearing to its huge fan base across the globe. The match between John Cena and The Undertaker is going to take place at Wrestlemania 34 if at all the things fall in place.
On Monday Night RAW episode on March 12, 2018, the 16-time WWE Champion John Cena issued a challenge to the Dead Man for a face-off at ‘The Show of Shows’, in New Orleans, in the United States. Is the dream match finally taking shape for The Grandest Stage of Them All?
The WWE Universe has longed for it for a long time now; with John Cena heading to Wrestlemania, this year, without an opponent and no WWE title in the picture, it will be a perfect time to take place. Cena was unsuccessful on both WWE brands – RAW and SmackDown – and now has no opponent to face in Wrestlemania. Cena lost both his matches at the pay-per-views – Elimination Chamber (RAW) and Fastlane (SmackDown) – and was out from the title race on both the brands!

The Cenation leader had teased a match with The Undertaker couple of weeks back too. In the latest episode of Raw, John Cena talked about he will be attending this year’s Wrestlemania as a fan. Cena said, “It’s the dream of every superstar to make it to the Wrestlemania and he’s tonight here to,” crowd interrupts with the chants of The Undertaker, “it’s nice to hear but he hopes they (WWE) are listening.”

Cena seemed all fired up as he issued a challenge to The Undertaker for a match at Wrestlemania, not once but four times. He mentions how it is not the WWE or the fans that are keeping it from happening, but The Undertaker himself. Cena asked The Undertaker to get over his ego and taunted him for his hideous nature after a loss, a stark contrast to Cena himself, who gets up and fights back after every loss he suffers.

Cena said that he is going to Wrestlemania this year either as a fan or as an opponent to The Undertaker, and if it happens, it will be historic. Cena signs off by saying, “It’s time to see if the Dead Man is still alive and if he were at his place, he knew what he would want – one.more.match.”

The shots are fired, the challenge is issued, and the ball is now in The Undertaker’s court. Last year at Wrestlemania 33, after his defeat against Roman Reigns, The Undertaker had virtually retired from the WWE. Will the Dead Man contemplate to come out of retirement? As they say, never say never, with the WWE it is solemnly true!
