Kl Rahul stood as a lone warrior during the match of Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals last night in Jaipur. The KXIP wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul scored an unbeaten knock of 95 runs off 75 balls and thus made him the highest run-getter of the IPL 2018 and bagged the Orange Cap for the same. Rahul has so made 471 runs in the IPL 2018 so far thus surpassing Chennai Super Kings’ Ambati Rayudu.

His innings not only impressed the Indians but also the people from the neighbouring country. Pakistan’s famous TV anchor Zainab Abbas too watched the innings and showered her praises on Rahul. She took to Twitter and wrote, “KL Rahul impressive, superb timing, great to watch.. #RRvKXIP.”

Little did she know that the tweet would spark a debate amongst the Twitter users of India and Pakistan.  While a few Pakistanis criticized her for watching the IPL, Indians spoke about how bad Pakistan Super League is. Check out a few tweets.

“We Never Watched Your sitty PSL. But Thank you For Watching Our IPL&Bollywood🇮🇳❤,” read a tweet.

“Maham zainb ki kawish h IPL me host karny ka moqa mily,” wrote this netizen.

“I am not interested  to watch Ipl🤒🤒🤒,” read a tweet.

“1 word mujeeb ur Rahmen k liye bol dete per wo Kia ha ap Logon ko sharam nahe ati ha 😀😀😀,” posted a netizen.

“kuch sharm hoti h kuch hayaa hoti h india waly ap ko nhe bulaty asi tweet na kia kro plzzz,” read a tweet.

“😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Apni kabadi league ki koi tareef ki,” read a tweet.

“I don't like ipl because ipl is a terrorist league,” read another tweet.

Despite Rahul’s swashbuckling knock, KXIP lost the match against RR last night by 15 runs. After winning the match, Rajasthan Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane said, “Chasing 157, credit to our bowlers, especially in the powerplay. That stage was crucial, getting 2-3 initial wickets. And Ish Sodhi, fantastic. Our intention was to pick wickets, and keeping an attacking field will help us. Gowtham bowled really well, and then the Ashwin wicket as well. Overall, bowling unit was fantastic.”
