IPL 2018: Shane Warne's Presence Helped KKR's Kuldeep Yadav Register His Best Figures of 4-20

Kuldeep Yadav yesterday clinched four wickets by giving away only 20 runs against Rajasthan Royals and registered his career-best performance at the IPL 2018. Kuldeep accredited his success to the legendary spinner Shane Watson, who is the mentor of Rajasthan Royals and was around when the game was happening at Eden Gardens. After the match, he was seen exchanging a conversation with the Australian legend.

Kuldeep during the post-match conference said, “I'm always a big fan of him (Warne). He has been my idol. I always get a different kind of motivation when I play in front of him. I wanted to put up a good show in front of him.”

Shane Warne also gave him tips for the upcoming series against England. "I discussed with him after the match. I have already started my planning for the upcoming England series. But it was a brief conversation. Maybe after the IPL, I will again get a chance to talk to him," Kuldeep said.

KKR will take on leaders Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last round-robin league match on May 19, Saturday. "We have to win the next match straightaway. That's important for us, then only we stand a chance to qualify," he said on a signing note.
