The Mumbai Indians are all set to be tested in their home ground against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2018. This is the first time that the two teams are locking horns with each other in the 11th season. Wankhede is a known territory for MI and they will once again look to dominate KKR like in past. However, as things stand today, Mumbai Indians are in danger as they fight for survival, however, that’s not the case with KKR as they stand on spot number 3 of the IPL 2018 Points Table.

Out of 7 matches played between the two teams at Wankhede, Mumbai has won 6 and KKR has won only 1. Mumbai has had the best records against KKR. Also, Rohit Sharma has scored the most number of runs against KKR. MI skipper had also scored a century against KKR in 2012 and has dismissed Sunil Nairne on 5 occasions. However, that’s all in past. KKR are flying with confidence after winning against CSK. Aso Dinesh Karthik, Chris Lynn and Shubham Gill have proven their worth and are strong enough to rip the toughest of the bowling. So overall, one can expect a cracker of a contest.
