Sunrisers Hyderabad last evening booked a berth in the playoffs of IPL 2018 after thrashing Delhi Daredevils by 9 wickets. Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan partnership of 176 runs led SRH to win comprehensively against the Delhi Daredevils yesterday at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium. It obvious that the Orange Army would celebrate the victory with a pomp. After reaching the hotel, the team was welcomed with a cake and a bottle of Champaign.

It was Shikhar Dhawan who cut the cake with his son Zoravar. As the ritual goes, the team smashed a cake on the face of Shikhar Dhawan and his son. One of the fan pages shared the video of the celebrations on social media.

The players even sang the official anthem of the team. After the match, Shikhar Dhawan said,"Gabbar was always there (laughs)! Yep, he's back. Rishabh played an amazing knock, the way he started against the turning ball, just took the game away form us. But we had belief that if we went in with a positive mindset, we could do it and things went our way. I've played lots of cricket here, know the pitch well and that was the advantage today. Glad I score 91, looking forward to scoring more runs for the team. When Kane came in, there wasn't much of a chat. We were just doing our job, I was in my flow and he had been doing well all tournament."

The Orange Army has now taken off to Pune got their upcoming match against Chennai Super Kings scheduled to happen on Sunday. The team is placed on number one position of the IPL 2018 Points Table. SRH has won 9 matches out of 11.
