IPL 2018 Diaries Video: Ambati Rayudu Says Virat Kohli’s Bat Has Been Lucky for Him

Ambati Rayudu was the latest guest on Harbhajan Singh’s show Quick Heal Bhajji Blast With CSK. Rayudu who has had an amazing season this IPL 2018 for Chennai Super Kings was seen having a gala time with Bhajji. Rayudu is known for making rare appearances on the shows and television here spoke about various aspects of his career, including his stint with the game, ICL days and much more. Rayudu said that he was more interested in studying than cricket. It was his father who enrolled Rayudu in the cricket camp.

During the interview, Bhajji asked him about his lucky charm. Rayudu revealed that every year he borrows a bat from the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. "Har saal ek bat leta hu Virat se, usko bhi maloom ho gaya ki tashan hai. Is saal to gaali deke diya hai,” he said.  Rayudu even went on to play a rapid fire round, where he said that he finds Dwayne Bravo to be Casanova.

In the episode, Rayudu also revealed that he does not carry a mobile phone to avoid distractions. The Chennai Super Kings striker also went on to say that he is, in fact, a fan of a vintage life when these communication systems seized to exit. However, Rayudu also said that he wishes to become a bit more social.

Talking about Rayudu’s form in the recently concluded IPL 2018, the Hyderabadi right-hander scored 602 runs from 16 matches. His highest score in the season was 100 not out. His strike rate was 149.75 in IPL 11.
