Dice heavily loaded in favour of Bangladesh....Mortaza is a captain par excellence. Has made 222 look like 242. #AsiaCup #IndvBan

Bangladesh did wonderfully well to take it as deep as they did. And the captain deserves a big part of the credit. Bangladesh looked poor midway into the tournament so this is a fine comeback

Thanks to a brilliant hundred by Liton Das, Bangladesh managed 222 on the board. India, chasing the score, was helped by Rohit Sharma's 48 and got important contributions from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. But finally it was up to Kedar Jadhav to rescue the team after he came back to bat after an injury break and ensured along with Kuldeep Yadav that India have a 'great escape' in a fitting final to lift the Asia Cup 2018 trophy.
