Team India beat Pakistan by 4-0 yesterday as both teams begun Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 in Breda, Netherlands on Saturday. Ramandeep Singh, Dilpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh and Lalit Upadhyay were ones the score for India. The victory helped the Indians get over their disastrous outing at 2018 Commonwealth Games. India will now take on Argentina on Sunday.
India has never won the Hockey Championship Trophy, has delighted many Indian fans. They took to Twitter to express their excitement. Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman and many others also took to Twitter to express their excitement and congratulated the Hockey India.

Indian women’s hockey team captain, Rani Rampal tweeted, “Congratulations to our men’s team @TheHockeyIndia for a rocking victory against Pakistan in their opening game of #HCT2018 #IndiaKaGame.”
Mohammed Kaif tweeted, “Congratulations India on beating Pakistan in the Champions Trophy comprehensively 4-0 #INDvPAK.”
Sehwag wrote, “Congratulations Team India. Kabaddi yesterday, Hockey today. This time it's 4-0. Well done on thrashing Pakistan. #INDvPAK.”
VVS Laxman tweeted, “Congratulations to the Indian team on beating Pakistan 4-0 in the #ChampionsTrophy Hockey 2018 in Breda, Netherlands.#INDvPAK.”
Ahead of the Champions Trophy 2018, Indian Hockey Coach Harinder Singh addressed the press and said, “2018 is a very crucial year for Indian hockey with three important tournaments around. I agree I didn't have enough time with the team but my goal is clear from day 1 -- podium finishes in Champions Trophy and World Cup and gold in Asiad which will ensure our ticket to Tokyo Olympics.”
