Hima Das is having a ball of a time in her career. The 19-year-old had already clinched four gold medals in the last fifteen days. The youngster has added yet another gold in her kitty as she stood first in the 400-meter race at the Athletics Meet 2019 which is currently underway at the Czech Republic. She clocked 52.09 seconds and is the second-best timing in the 400-meter event. Her season-best was 52.88 seconds before Saturday. The Dhing express recorded her personal best last year in Asian Games with 50.72. Needless to say that the netizens are extremely happy with the feat and posted tweets on her victory. The video of the race was also shared on social media by the netizens. Hima Das won her first gold medal when she ran her first competitive 200m race of the year on July 2. She had clocked 23.65s to finish on top of the podium at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland. She followed this with second gold 200m gold at the Kutno Athletics Meet, again in Poland on July 8. Assam runner had clocked 23.97 seconds to win the gold while Kerala runner V.K. Vismaya had grabbed silver with a timing of 24.06 seconds.

On July 13, she won her third 200m gold at the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic with a time of 23.43 seconds. Hima Das won her fourth international gold she bagged the top honours in the 200m race at the Tabor Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic on July 18.
