The Indian all-rounder in a bid to act cool crossed the line and landed in hot waters for his misogynistic comments. Pandya opened up about his partying habits where he boasted about things like not asking the names of women at parties and watching them move on the dance among others. This surely did not go down well with the netizens and they took to social media to slam the cricketer for the same. However, Pandya this morning took to Twitter and apologised for his comment. The all-rounder went on to say that he got carried away with the format of the show and he did not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments. “After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect," Pandya posted on Twitter.
During the chat with Karan Johar Pandya went on to reveal about himself hooking up with different women and sending the same texts to multiple women. The all-rounder even said that he told his parents when he lost his virginity.
Hardik Pandya is currently in Australia travelling with the India team. He did not make it to the playing XI during Melbourne and Sydney Test. He is now gearing up for the three-match ODI series which starts on January 12. 2019.
