LA Galaxy’s Zlatan Ibrahimović has already created ripples after his shift to the club from Manchester United. Now, the Swedish footballer has added one more feather to his cap as he got his 500th goal against Toronto FC on Sunday. With this, he has now joined the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi who have reached the 500-goal milestone. The match was held at the BMO Field in Toronto. Zlatan Ibrahimovic fined for slapping a player. 

Talking about the match, the home team had already taken a lead in the first half of the game by scoring three goals on 5th, 16th and 36th minute. Irba’s goal came at the 46th minute with an amazing an incredible spinning volley and the moment he scored a goal, the fans at the stadium busted out into a huge round of applause. After achieving the landmark, Zlatan took to Twitter to thank all his teams including PSG, Manchester United and a few more. “Thank you @Malmo_FF @AFCAjax @juventusfc @Inter @FCBarcelona @acmilan @PSG_English @ManUtd @LAGalaxy #Swedennationalteam.”

He also posted a tweet which with a picture of himself of his 500th goal.

No sooner he achieved the feat, congratulatory messages started pouring in. His former colleague Paul Pogba had a message for Zlatan.

David Beckham also congratulated Zlatan for the achievement and trolled him by saying he was getting old. He also had a piece of advice for Zlatan. The former Man United player took the message very sportingly and said, “My friend! Thank you very much. I agree with you, i'm old. Will work on my shy side, I definitely need to improve on that.”

Zlatan has scored 17 goals and eight assists from 22 appearances for LA Galaxy so far. “I'm happy for Toronto because they'll be remembered as my 500th victim," Ibrahimovic told TSN after the game.
