Zlatan Ibrahimovic Becomes Co-Owner of Hammarby, Buys Shares in the Swedish Club After Parting Ways With His Former Team LA Galaxy

Footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who joined Swedish club Hammarby a few days ago, has become co-owner of the Swedish Club. The Swedish footballer joined the club after saying goodbye to his former club LA Galaxy. Zlatan, the most successful footballer to play for Sweden, left his former club LA Galaxy a couple of weeks ago.

Footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who joined Hammarby, has become co-owner of the Swedish Club. The Swedish footballer joined the club after saying goodbye to his former club LA Galaxy. Zlatan, the most successful footballer to play for Sweden so far, left his former club LA Galaxy a couple of weeks ago. While football fans of the European footballer expected him to sign a contract with big clubs, he gave a surprise by joining Hammarby. Now, he has also become the co-owner of Sweden's Club. He has bought 50 per cent of Anschutz Entertainment Group's share in the Stockholm-based club.

This gives Zlatan 22.5 per cent share in the Hammarby. AEG is the other prominent partner in the club. Earlier, he had posted a video on social media informing his fans about his decision to quit LA Galaxy. On Instagram, he shared a video and wrote, "I came, I saw, I conquered. Thank you @lagalaxy for making me feel alive again. To the Galaxy fans - you wanted Zlatan, I gave you Zlatan. You are welcome. Hammarby had earlier said that they are happy over the inclusion of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their team. Club’s President Dan Beckerman also called him one of the world’s most respected and experienced players. Hammarby Fotboll club is also popular as Hammarby IF or Hammarby. It was founded 122 years ago in March 7, 1897.  The club is based at Tele2 Arena in Johanneshov, a district in Stockholm, in Sweden.
