Zinedine Zidane recently met with former Real Madrid team-mate Guti and Spanish club UD Almeria’s owner Turki Al-Sheikh on Sunday. The latter surely enjoyed meeting with the French World Cup winner as he recreated the infamous ‘Zidane header’ on Marco Materazzi during the 2006 FIFA World Cup and posted a video of it on his official twitter account. The Los Blancos manager handed Turki a signed Real Madrid jersey with the Frenchman’s name and number on the back. Guti played with Zidane during his time with the Spanish giants and is currently the manager of UD Almeria. Zinedine Zidane was sent off for this act as his team lost the final to Italy on penalties in the end. In 2006, after this final, the Frenchman decided to call an end to his international career despite being only 34 at that time. Zidane is one of the most influential players in this game and has won various major titles with his clubs as well with his national team. Some of his major honours include the 1998 World Cup, UEFA Euro 2000 and 2002 UEFA Champions League.
