In a tragic accident in northern Peru, seven children have reportedly died while 11 others have suffered injuries after a bus plunged off a mountain road in northern Peru. The bus was carrying a youth football team and as per various reports, the accident happened after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The accident took place in the town of Chachapoyas.
“Seven teenagers have died. Their relatives have identified their bodies," the country's health minister, Silvia Pessah told the Canal N broadcaster. It is reported that the bus was carrying around 35 people and the majority of inured passengers are children.

Following the tragic incident, the Peruvian Football Federation expressed its condolences. And posted the message on Twitter. Earlier in January, in a similar accident, 48 people died after a bus plunged in Peru.
