Search giant Google has made a doodle to mark the beginning of the 2018 FIFA World Cup which officially begins today in Russia. Over the period of entire next month, national team players from 32 countries will compete for the best ranks. The football matches will be held across 12 venues in 11 cities of Russia.
The teams of Iceland and Panama will be playing the FIFA championship for the first time. Out of the 32 participating teams, 20 are making repeat appearances. There will be a total of 64 matches and the finals will be held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on July 15. The FIFA World Cup is held after a four year interval so the excitement about the games is far too much. So far 20 editions of the FIFA World Cup have taken place in different countries around the world.
