Nooitgedagt and the football star were expecting the birth of their daughter in September 2014 and that was the very time that Van Dijk got a call for the first-ever senior international. The birth went fine but unfortunately, the Dutch footballer had to wait for a year more as he was not picked into the final squad.

The couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Nila. They have always expressed love for each other on social media by posting lovey-dovey pictures on social media. Nooitgedagt gave away her career for supporting Virgil Van Dijk ‘s football dreams. She worked as a fashion sales manager before giving birth to her daughter.
