Virender Sehwag is known for his tongue in cheek humour and Sultan of Multan minces no words when it comes to expressing his personal opinion. Whether it’s taking a jibe at Shoaib Akhtar in the commentary box, or trolling Piers Morgan during Olympics 2016, Sehwag has always spoken his mind. His opinions are just not restricted to sports. Today, the right-hander took a dig at Pre Primary school textbook which said that a large family cannot enjoy a happy life.
The text in the book read, “A large family consists of parents, grandparents and many children. A large family cannot enjoy a happy life.” The teaching in the textbook did not go well with Sehwag and he took a picture of the text and shared it on Twitter and blamed the authorities for now doing their homework well before printing the content in the book. His tweet read, “A lot of such crap in school textbooks. Clearly, the authorities deciding and reviewing content not doing their homework.”

Recently Sehwag was in the news for turning into a spiritual guru. Dressing into an avatar of a baba, Sehwag blessed the Indian team for the day 3 of the India vs England test match. He posted the picture on Instagram in the avatar and captioned it, “Arzi hamaari , Marzi aapki ! Mera aashirvad sada hai Team India ke saath #jaibhole.” Sehwag also posted the same picture with a different caption on Twitter. The caption read, “Guru karna jaan kar, Paani peena chaan kar .Jai Bhole ! Jai Shri Ram ! Jai Bajrangbali !.”
