India women football team reached the finals of under-17 Women’s Football tournament on Tuesday (December 17). The Indian eve team defeated Thailand in the semi-finals to make way for the final. India women team defeated Thailand women football team 1-0 in the match, the latter scored a self-goal. Indian football team shared a tweet to inform Indian football fans about India women's team triumph. Indian team and Thailand were not able to score a goal until the first half. The game went goalless till the 89th minute. However, Thai goalkeeper Pwarisa made a fatal error. She attempted to collect the ball from the far left. However, the ball fumbled from her hands into the goal. The own goal helped India women to win the match and make way for the final. The Indian women team have now sealed a place in the final. They are set to face Sweden in the final. The final will be played on December 19 (Thursday).
