Ever since Mohamed Salah has been injured during the finals of the Championship League 2018 in Kiev, Real Madrid’s captain Mohamed Salah has been in the eye of the storm for tackling the Egyptian. In fact, fans have even started a petition to get the Spanish defender penalized. As per a radio station COPE Mohamed Salah’s fans have reportedly gone beyond social media and a few got hold of Ramos’ phone number.
As per reports, Ramos and his family members have been receiving abusive messages and some of them have even been death threats from anonymous people and they have been forced to change their numbers. Spanish police are now investigating the incident.
Post the Salah’s injury, an Egyptian lawyer named Bassem Wahbahad even filed a suit for 1 billion Euros stating that the Real Madrid captain had intentionally hurt the Liverpool forward. "I've filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA. I'll ask for compensation, which could exceed €1billion, for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people,” he added.
Salah was forced to leave the stadium within the first 30 minutes of the game. He was in tears and had injured his shoulder. Ramos sent his good wishes to the 25-year-old via Twitter. His tweet read, “El fútbol te enseña la cara más dulce a veces y la más amarga otras. Ante todo somos compañeros. Pronta recuperación, Salah. El futuro te espera.||Sometimes football shows you it's good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros. #GetWellSoon @MoSalah.”
