Immediately after winning the Champions League against Liverpool last Saturday by 3-1 at Kiev, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale said that they were uncertain about their future with Real Madrid. The rumours only got stronger when Real Madrid launched their kit and CR7 remained absent from the event. The fans have been eager to about their future plans. Now, Real Madrid boss Fabio Capello said that the Portugal all-time top goal scorer is planning to go back to Manchester United.

“Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with Real Madrid? Cristiano wants to return to Manchester United alongside Mourinho I think he will eventually leave Madrid to go back to England. When? This I don’t know,” said Capello to Sky Sport 24. He also revealed that Robert Lewandowski will be an ideal replacement for Ronaldo. “If Ronaldo leaves Madrid, Real will have to replace him. [Robert] Lewandowski could be an option,” he said.

After winning the Champions League by 3-1, Ronaldo while speaking to Fox News said, “In [the] coming days, there'll be an answer about my future. It has been very nice playing for Real Madrid. However, he clarified his comments and said, “I am not saying I am going, in the coming days we will see. They took something out of context that I should not have said. I did not know it would be so strong. I prefer not to talk and to enjoy this lovely moment to the maximum." For now, Ronaldo will be seen playing for FIFA World Cup 2018 for Portugal.
