It was nothing short of a dream start for Real Kashmir FC in their I-League debut match. The club from Kashmir, which was formed three years ago, stunned one and all as they defeated defending champions Minerva Punjab 1-0. Meanwhile, the club has created a campaign which showcases how the football is loved in the valley, all thanks to Real Kashmir FC. Cheil WW India has created the promotional video for the club in partnership with Adidas, which recently joined hands with Real Kashmir FC. Meanwhile, Shamim Meraj, co-owner of Real Kashmir FC has thanked people of Jammu and Kashmir and he believes the club’s journey is inspirational.
“The film for us is inspirational and evocative. It sums up what we are. We are very thankful to locals of Jammu and Kashmir without whom we couldn’t have put our inspirational story together. It’s a great moment for a young club to produce something like this,” Meraj was quoted as saying by theorem.com.
“This is not merely a campaign but a very special initiative to drive a perception change, to stir the emotions of people of this country and drive collective optimism towards Jammu and Kashmir. We are very proud to partner with Real Kashmir FC and hope to make a difference in the lives of people,” said Aneesh Jaisinghani, executive creative director, Cheil WW India.

Real Kashmir FC are currently placed third on the I-League points table and have three points in their kitty. The club will play their first home match on November 06 against Churchill Brothers at TRC Ground in Srinagar. Churchill Brothers have so far played two matches and both their matches shave ended in draws.
