Vloet was driving with a group of friends from a party in Amsterdam to Rotterdam when the crash happened. The former PSV attacking midfielder was driving at a speed of 193 kmph when he rammed a car from the back in 2021. The four-year-old boy was sitting in the back seat of the car which was rammed. Rai Vloet was heavily under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The speed limit in the area where the crash happened was 130 kmph but Vloet was driving at 193 kmph when he rammed the vehicle in which the four-year-old boy was seated.
