The team went on to beat Brighton 2-1 at the Old Trafford during EPL 2018-19. Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford scored one goal each and guided the Red Devils to victory. The first goal was hit by Pogba at the 27th minute as a penalty and with this, the scoreline read 1-0. Post-half-time, Marcus Rashford scored another goal for the team at the 42nd minute. Brighton tried to make a comeback into the game but could not make a comeback. Pascal Grob at the 72nd minute scored a goal against Manchester United, but sadly that just did not help Brighton enough. With this win, the team now have added three more points in their kitty. The Red Devils are now on featuring on number five of the English Premier League 2018-19 table and have gone past Arsenal with 44 points. So far the team has played 23 matches and have won 13 of them winning five and the remaining ended with a draw. The team will next play against Arsenal for the FA Cup 2019.
