NorthEast United Draws With FC Goa ISL 2018-19 Video Highlights: Thriller in Guwahati Ends up 2-2

The third match of ISL 2018-19 has offered a thriller to the fans. The match between NorthEast United and FC Goa ended up with a draw by 2-2 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. Out of 17 meetings in the ISL so far this is the seventh time that there was no result between the two teams. It was on the 8^th minute that NorthEast United’s Federico Gallego scored the first goal and took the lead for the team. On the 53rd minute, Bartholomew Ogbeche scored an equaliser for the team and the scorecard showed 2-2. Both sides were looking out desperately to get the lead. However, NorthEast lacked intent and could not show enough character on the field. FC Goa was far better as the possession was 55% whereas NorthEast United had only 45%. Virat Kohli’s team made 470 passes throughout the game with the accuracy level of 82%. NorthEast United, on the other hand, had 397, with an accuracy level of 78%. With this, FC Goa is now on number three of the ISL 2018 Points table. Kerala Blasters FC still leads the table with Bengaluru FC on number two. NorthEast United is now on number 4 of the points table. Tomorrow, Mumbai City will face Jamshedpur at the Mumbai Football Arena.
