Meanwhile, Croatia will be hoping for their maiden World Cup as they lock horns with 1998 champions France at the Luzhniki Stadium. This is Croatia’s fifth World Cup appearance and the best they have finished was third during the 1998 edition. France, on the other hand, qualified for the final since the 2006 edition when they finished as runners-up against Italy.
