Speculations over Neymar’s transfer to La Liga giants Real Madrid continue with reports now emerging that the players from the club have been regularly contacting the Brazilian superstar in order to try and persuade him to join them at the Bernabeu. Neymar, who signed for Paris Saint-Germain in a record deal from Barcelona in 2017, has attempted to rejoin the Spanish league champions in the ongoing summer transfer window but Madrid are reported to be very confident of landing the Selecao forward this summer. Neymar Transfer News Latest: Barcelona or Real Madrid? The Madrid club reportedly wants to complete the signing before the La Liga summer transfer window closes on September 2, 2019. Many Real players have been regularly calling the Brazilian attacker, said reports in ESPN FC. Meanwhile, fans at the Parc des Princes have already lost their patience over Neymar and want the club to sell him at the earliest. An anti-Neymar banner was flown during PSG Ligue 1 game against Nimes on the weekend and although PSG won the game 3-0 comfortably fans could be heard chanting abuses aimed at the Brazilian.

PSG Sporting director Leonardo has already confirmed that the club is willing to sell Neymar but at the right price and according to a report in ESPN FC both Barcelona and Real are negotiating with the French club to bring Neymar back to Spain. The 27-year-old is reportedly frustrated at the club’s repeated failure to make past the Champions League quarter-finals and wants to rejoin his friends Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in Barcelona where he had won his first and only Champions League medal.

It, however, seems difficult that any of either Barca or Real can make a move for mercurial Brazilian especially with the PSG hierarchies demanding a fee similar to the €222m they paid for him two years ago when they prized Neymar away. Real are, however, reported to be ahead after Barcelona board admitted that they are unable to match PSG’s asking price for Neymar and are instead hoping to make a player-swap deal.

Real, on the other, want Neymar as the first of their future generation galactico signing. The Zinedine Zidane coached club's failure to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United has further increased the demand for a marketable star and Real President Florentino Perez is said to be very fond of him. Perez has been chasing Neymar since his Santos days and sees this as the best opportunity to get his prized possession.
